Mario Scairato

Born in Paestum in 1989, he lives and works in Milan, where he focuses on furniture and product design, as well as art direction.

Classical architecture, mythology, and the natural heritage of his homeland have always been a major source of inspiration for his work.

Through an innovative and contemporary approach, he explores and investigates the expressive forms of design, creating timeless objects. The values at the core of his design practice are formal and technological research, attention to production processes and craftsmanship, together with a strong sensitivity toward sustainable production.

His design is distinguished by a strong graphic identity, the immediacy of forms, and a precise use of color.

His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions, particularly at Triennale Milano, ADI Design Museum, Rossana Orlandi Gallery, Casa do Design, and Design Museum Holon.
