MARCELLO CUNEO<\/strong><\/p>\n

Marcello Cuneo was born in Cagliari in 1933. He started a law school but then he discovered that sculpture and painting were his cup of tea. He undertook an 8-year collaboration with Gio Ponti on an international scale. He worked also with Lino Saltini. He draws for “La linea” of Lurago d’Erba, Cassina, Arflex and for the Comforto.<\/p>\n

He received several awards, including the Andrea Palladio award in 1967 for the Lombarda table lamp, the Guten Industrieform award in 1978 for the System 10 chair and a special mention at the 11th edition of the Compasso D ‘Oro of 1979 for the Cross armchair.<\/p>\n
