Studio TiPi was opened by Piero Palange and Werther Toffoloni, and their collaboration lasted until 1975, until the death of Mr Palange. Both architects studied in Venice and carried on their business working with well-known industries. For Montina they created two chairs that were then nominated for the 12th edition of the Milan Triennale in 1960. Werther Toffoloni kept on working as StudioTipi and collecting design award until his own death in 2017 .
