Tim Power
In 1996, Tim Power founded Studio Power as an Architectural, Interior Design, and Industrial design firm. Prior to opening Studio Power, Tim Power collaborated in the offices of Superstudio and Sottsass Associati in Italy as well as a variety of firms in California. Studio Power has designed Architecture and Interior projects for numerous private clients in the Art, Fashion and Advertising worlds including Louis Vuitton, XYZ Communications, Motorola, Muji, Switch, Prezio-sismi, J Walter Thompson, and UCI (Paramount). Studio Power has designed industrial products, furniture and home goods for Zeritalia, Poltronova, WMF, Montina, Oluce, David Design, BRF, Alfi, Rosenthal, FontanaArte, Mitsubishi, Cassina/Interdecor and many others. Installations and cultural activities include the Biennale of Art in Venice (German Pavilion 2000), the 1999 Biennale of Design (St. Etienne) and advisor for the Biennale of Architecture (2000, ‘Radical’ Section).
In order to accommodate the growing request of more comprehensive projects, Studio Power has initialized a 2d strategy and communication partnership together with Studio B+P. Work has been shown in Milan, Florence, San Francisco, New York, Barcelona, Tokyo, London, Cologne and Venice and published in the leading Architectural and Design journals and books.
